One Month... Tomorrow Or GET ME THE HECK OUT OF HERE (You Pick)

Hey everyone! My P-day got switched to Wednesday for my last week here. But don't worry, it will be back to the normal Tuesday next week.

This past week has been crazy. I honestly can't remember everything that happened. But I did have to say goodbye to my district this week, which was sad. But luckily we were able to spend time with them before they left. And I found out that I am pretty good at connect 4. I beat two people in my district, so that was super fun. Anyways *climbs on soapbox* my district is so amazing! They were probably the biggest blessing in my life during the MTC. Their testimonies are so strong, and they helped me strengthen mine throughout the two weeks we spent together. They are all going to be amazing missionaries. I love them all so much! *climbs off soapbox*

I started visitor's center training on Thursday last week, and it has been going pretty well. We are focusing on how to connect with people and changing plans to meet their needs. Going along with that, we got the wonderful opportunity to go to temple Square for the day on Saturday. We got put with one of the sisters there, and we were going to be companions for the day. My companion was Sister Toft, and she is just the best! She is from Denmark and is one of the sweetest people I have ever met. She was the best at showing me around and being an amazing example of the missionary I hope to be one day. Ahh I just love her! Cool story, we were walking around and we ran into this wonderful older couple. After talking with them, we gave them a Book of Mormon, and they were actually interested in it. It was definitely a miracle. Anyways, we ended the day with Costa Vida, which was also a little miracle after the food I have eaten here at the MTC.

So as my subject line says, tomorrow is my one month mark!! I can't believe it, it is honestly so crazy! Time flies when you are serving the Lord. As it also says, I am so excited to get out of the MTC. It has been great, but I am ready to get to Portland and start my mission. I leave Friday morning at 5:37, and I get to Portland at 12:05. I'm so excited!

Little spiritual thought- I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are so mindful of us. They love us all so much, and they want us to succeed in whatever we are doing. They hear and answer our prayers, and they are always there with arms open ready to comfort us and love us. I love this gospel, and I can't wait to share it with the people in Portland.
