Chapter 3- He Was Lying On The Ground... Bloody, Haha

Hey everyone! This week has been crazy but so good.

We were finally able to have a lesson with our friend Sean, and it was so amazing! We talked about prayer and the Book of Mormon. Then we invited him to come to church, and he said yes!!! And guess what, he actually came!!! And the talks given in sacrament meeting were amazing and exactly what he needed. Then he said that elders quorum went amazing too, and he would definitely be back next week! It is so exciting!

Anyways, really quick, we went to have a lesson with some members, and they had the cutest little dog named Reggie. And he came and laid right next to me and I just pet him the whole time we were talking. It gave me a little piece of home, because one of our dogs used to lay next to me.

Anyways, then on Friday, we had a zone training with Sister Botchway. She is the mission president's wife. We spent the whole time practicing how to invite people to be baptized, and she made the newest missionaries aka me, be the one to extend the invitation. It was definitely a learning experience haha. But the people we were role-playing with had the choice to say yes or no. And Sister Botchway was keeping track of how many people said yes to baptism on the board. But instead of writing out baptisms, she just wrote bappies which was so funny. Then I was able to have an interview with President Botchway, and it was so good! He is the best!

Then on Saturday, we got to go to Stake President's council. It was so fun! Then right after we went to lunch with Sister Davis' cousin. Then we had to go back to the church to finish our interviews, so I got to sit with Sister Botchway. She has the cutest personality ever. She spoke at a conference earlier that day, and it was getting out while we were sitting there. And everybody came over to say hi, and her facial expressions were so funny. And she told us after that she was hoping to avoid all of these people as they got out of this conference. We were laughing so hard.

On Sunday, I was able to give my family a tour of the Visitor's Center. Which was so much fun! It was so nice to talk about the temple, and walk them around.

Funny story, so our zone leaders texted us and asked if we could sew. We said yes, so we got to sew a hole in one of their pants. Then we were nervous that it looked bad, so we needed somebody to try them on. I volunteered as tribute, and guess what?! They fit perfectly and are so cute! I am tempted to keep them, but I won't, don't worry. It was just so funny lol.

Anyways, little spiritual thought for you all. I invite all of you to find your favorite scripture about Jesus and memorize it, so you can always have it with you. I'm going to do this too, and I know it will help us have Jesus closer to us throughout our daily life.

Here is the link to the video that explains the title of my email haha.
