Chapter 14: Merry Christmas!!

Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you have had a wonderful day celebrating the day of our Savior's birth. This week was great!

We got to give a tour at the Visitors' Center to a lady named Sandy, who is our District Leader's friend. She was so sweet, and now she is excited to get a temple recommend and go do baptisms! Also, there is a family who brings food to the Visitors' Center, and they brought each Sister who serves there a present and a bunch of candy. It was so fun, and we each got a necklace of the temple.

On Thursday, we had zone training with our mission president and his wife, and it was amazing! One thing that really stuck out to me is that this is all one work. Everybody that is helping bring others to Christ, is participating in the same work. So when we get discouraged, just remember that this isn't about you. It is about Jesus Christ and His Gospel.

Friday was a little rough because I woke up very very sick, so I took a three hour long nap and woke up feeling like a new person haha. Then we went to a member who recently moved back into the ward, and his wife isn't a member. But she had a lot of questions for us, and she is interested in learning more! It is so exciting! Then our friend Brian came to the Christmas concert at the Visitors' Center! He really felt the Spirit, so hopefully he will come to church soon. One little miracle was that we were late to the concert, but if we had been on time Brian wouldn't have gotten to hear us perform. So it is important to remember that God's hand is in every aspect of our lives if we look for it.

Yesterday I got to spend the day at the Visitors' Center, and it was so good! We gave a tour to a really cool guy named Eduardo, and we ended the night singing Christmas hymns and eating rootbeer floats.

Spiritual Thought (testimony): I know that Jesus Christ is the son of God. I know that He came to Earth to save us all from sin and death. I am so grateful for Him and all that He has done for me. He is my Savior.

I love you all!
