Chapter 38: I'm Gonna Do A Flip Into The Font

Happy P-day everyone!! This week has been really hot and really busy.

We had an amazing lesson with our friend Jan this week. She is super sweet, and already has a testimony of so many things. We were teaching her the Restoration, and it was incredible to see how much she already knew and agreed with. We had a wonderful discussion about prophets and the apostasy with her. She is so incredible! Also, she is reading the Book of Mormon! We gave her 3 Nephi 11 to read, and when we went over, she had already read up to 3 Nephi 18! It was so cool! She also came to church on Sunday and really loved the Relief Society lesson. It was about the Doctrine of Christ, and she really resonated with how repentance is changing to come closer to Jesus Christ. Jan is just so amazing!

Yesterday, we had a really great lesson with Jimmy! We were able to talk about the Atonement of Jesus Christ and how he can apply it into his own life. We were able to help him make some small and simple goals that will help him overcome his struggles. He is so sweet, and he talks about how he wants to be baptized. He even said that when he gets baptized he wants to do a flip into the font! He is so funny and just so wonderful. Keep him in your prayers, and hopefully, he will be able to overcome these hard times that he is having.

Spiritual Thought: I read a talk yesterday called Worthiness is not Flawlessness by Brad Wilcox. It is an absolutely incredible talk, and one of my favorite lines is:

"God loves us as we are, but He also loves us too much to leave us this way."

Our Heavenly Father loves us so much, but he wants us to continue to learn and to grow instead of being stagnant. Even though change is hard, He will be there with us every step of the way helping us to become better.

I love you all! Have a fabulous week!

Love,
