Chapter 39: Roses And Croissants

Hey everyone!

We got a referral this week from sister missionaries in New Jersey because their friend, Jenny, moved into our area. We set up a time to meet her, and she is so amazing! She was taught about the Gospel in New Jersey, and she knows that everything is true! She wants to get baptized in July, and she is just so amazing! Her testimony is so strong, and she is so in tune with the Spirit.

We went on exchanges this week, and I got to go with Sister Tatafu in their area. It was super fun, and we were able to have lessons with two of their friends! We were also able to meet some really nice people and have a really good conversation with them. I love being able to serve with so many wonderful missionaries and have some great experiences with them.

This morning, Sister Williams and I went to the Rose Gardens with Elder and Sister Brooksby, the Visitors' Center directors. It was so beautiful and there were so many cool roses. I loved seeing all of the variety, and knowing that we are all different, but we are all children of God. They also introduced us to a little bakery called Paris Baguette, and it was so good!

Spiritual Thought: This week I read Let God Prevail by President Nelson. It was such an amazing talk! I learned that we need to choose to let God prevail in our lives, and that we have to be open to His help. I would love to invite you all to read the talk this week, and I know that you will all find guidance and answers for your life.

I love you all! Have a wonderful week!

Love,
- Sister Willie
