Chapter 68: New Year, New Me (Through Christ)
Happy Friday everyone!! We served in the Visitors' Center on Monday, so we are taking our extra pday today. I'm trying to remember what happened this week, but my memory isn't the best, so this might be a short email haha
This past week at the Visitors' Center, we got to give a tour to a young mom named Tupou! She is a member who is coming back to church, and the Sisters that are helping her are in my zone. It was such a great tour and the Spirit was so strong. She has such a strong desire to repent, so she can come inside the temple! It was so great, and the Sisters brought another member named Sister Tatafu, and I got to serve with her in Beaverton. It was really great to see her and talk with her again!
We had a really good lesson with our friend Annalisa, and we were able to have a member come with us! It went amazingly, and the member was able to connect with her really well. She also was able to entertain the kids, so we could teach Annalisa without all the interruptions. She wants to come to church, but it's so hard because she doesn't have a car or a phone. So keep her in your prayers, and hopefully she will be able to come to church soon!
Spiritual Thought: I can't believe that we are in the year 2025! It is so crazy! I recently reread President Nelson's most recent Conference talk, and I love his invitation to make our discipleship our highest priority. This is one thing that I really want to work on this year, as I continue to come closer to Jesus Christ. President Nelson ends his talk with this quote:
"It is neither too early nor too late for you to become a devout disciple of Jesus Christ. Then you will experience fully the blessings of His Atonement."
I know that these promised blessings will come to all of us as we make our discipleship our highest priority.
I love you all so much! I hope you have a great weekend, and I will talk to you again on Monday!
Love,
- Sister Willie
