Chapter 13: New Transfer, Same Me

Hello everyone!

We had transfers this last week, and I'm staying in Lakeridge with Sister Davis. I was so stressed about transfers, but it was the most anticlimactic thing that ever happened.

We went and did service for one of our members, and he gave each of us a pair of Nike Airs! They are kind of atrocious in my opinion, but they were a gift so I'm not complaining.

On Thursday, we went to go and visit this one guy that was in our area book/app, and he was really nice. But him and his wife are apparently Quakers, so that was interesting. We shared a scripture with them, but they said that they had found the church for them.

Also, we went to visit this one member in our ward, and walked out of there with an elder berry tonic water and mango drink thing. It was so good, but now we have her cups in our apartment lol.

We were able to get in contact with a less active member, and he was so sweet. He basically told us all the stuff he did when he was young and stupid, which was really interesting. He likes to talk with us when we go over, but he doesn't answer his phone or return our calls which is frustrating. But it's ok, we will keep talking to him.

Spiritual Thought- I have been slowly reading Luke 2 as Christmas is coming up, and it has been such a wonderful experience to reflect on the birth of our Savior. I invite each of you to read it before Christmas, and I know that it will help you remember Jesus Christ more this Christmas season.

Sorry this email was kind of short, but know that I love you all! Have a wonderful week!

Love,
Sister Willie
