Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great week! This past week, we had Zone Conference with Elder Peter Johnson and his wife. They are so amazing, and they had such a wonderful spirit about them. They shared such wonderful things, and I learned so much. One of my favorite things that they said was actually a question that they posed to each one of us. They asked, " What will you do if you had more faith?" It really got me thinking about the things that I would do if I had more faith in my Savior, and how that is where I want to be right now. I want to be doing those things that will show my faith in Jesus Christ. It was such a faith building day with them, and I will always remember it.  On Saturday, we got to go on exchanges! I went with Sister Gray and Hermana Liechty in Maplewood/ASL. It was so much fun! We went finding at a farmers market, and we got to talk with a lot of really cool people and give away some Jesus pass along cards. We also got some really good free sampl...

Happy Wednesday everyone! We took our turn in the Visitors' Center this Monday, so we get the rest of our P-day today!  Last Wednesday, for our Visitors' Center Training, we had the opportunity to help on the grounds of the temple. With a few other Sisters, we helped plant Vinca, commonly known as Periwinkle, by the reflection pool. It was really fun to be able to help the gardeners make the temple look beautiful. After we were done, the head gardener, Brother Yates, shared his conversion story with us. It was so cool to hear how the Gospel had changed him, and how he had helped others come closer to Christ throughout his life.  This week, we got to go on exchanges! I stayed here in our area, and Hermana Barnes came with me. It was such a fun day, and we saw so many different miracles. We had a lesson with our friend, and she was able to receive a priesthood blessing. It was a very powerful, spiritual experience for her and for us. Then, she came to church on Sunday!! We also ...

Hello everyone! This week was really busy, but we saw lots of really cool miracles.  Saturday was literally so crazy, but it was so amazing. We had a mission wide devotional with Elder Gong!! We all had the opportunity to shake his hand and talk with him for just a minute. He is so sweet, and he had such a special spirit about him. He spoke a lot about taking care of each other and that we are called to be here. It was such an amazing experience, and you can tell how much he loves the Lord and this wonderful Gospel.  That same day, just about 1 hour after, Zoey got baptized!! It was so crazy having to drive back to the church building and get everything ready. We quickly found out that we didn't have keys to the closet with the jumpsuit that Zoey needed to wear, or to the font itself. Thank goodness the Elders were there and loaned us their key. Hello everyone! I hope that you had a great week and saw the Lord's hand in your life. Last Monday, we went to visit our friend Zoey, and she is so awesome! During our lesson, we decided on a date for her baptism!! She is getting baptized this Saturday!! She is so excited to be baptized and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost! It has been amazing to teach her and watch her grow. It is going to be a little crazy getting everything ready, but we are very excited for her to make her first covenant with God.  Update on Jimmy: he is still working towards quitting smoking, and he decided that if he isn't off of them by the 16th he is quitting cold turkey. He is already doing really well, and yesterday in our lesson he decided that he needs to start praying more. He even told his niece that he was getting baptized, which is so exciting! Happy Labor Day everyone!! I hope everyone gets a chance to celebrate. I know that I'm going to celebrate by teaching the Gospel!! Anyways, this week was really crazy and full of so many miracles.  We were able to meet with Jimmy a couple of times this week, and at one of our lessons, we had a member call in and share his testimony. It was so powerful, and he spent the whole time telling Jimmy how much he wanted him to be baptized and how that would bless his life. The Spirit was so strong, and Jimmy really felt it. When we left, he said that the next time we came over, he would have a baptismal date picked out! Then, we went over yesterday, and he wants to be baptized by the 1st of October! He has to quit smoking by the 17th to be baptized on that day, so please keep him in your prayers! This week, we were also able to meet with our friend Linus, and our Bishop was able to join us!
